Privatisation of Largest Slovene Banks Discussed With International Expert

Ljubljana, 2 February - BANKING/PRIVATISATION
Respected financial expert from the IMF Aristobulo de Juan continued his three-day visit to Slovenia on Friday. Privatisation was the topic of discussion between de Juan and Finance Minister Tone Rop and the competent working groups, as well as representatives from the two largest state owned banks Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) and Nova kreditna banka Maribor (NKBM). As part of de Juan's three day visit, the guest was also received by Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek.
