Rupel and Stoiber Discuss Slovenia's Integration into the EU and NATO
Munich, 3 February - Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel met with Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber on Friday evening ahead of the international conference on security, which will open on Saturday. The two officials discussed bilateral co-operation and the activities of the Bavarian-Slovene commission, as well as NATO and EU enlargement. Stoiber expressed Germany's support for Slovenia's integration into the Euro-Atlantic institutions and was confident that Slovenia will be among the first countries to join the EU and NATO in the next round of enlargement.
