Pokljuka Track is not Tailor-Made For Me, Says Rostovcev
Pokljuka, 3 February - "The track on Pokljuka is not tailor-made for me because it has many short ascents. I prefer longer tracks because you can ski on them, while on short ones it all looks more like running," said the 29-year old Pavel Rostovcev of Russia, who reigned victorious in the men's 10 km spring at the Biathlon World Championships held in Pokljuka, scoring the second World Cup victory in his career. He crossed the finish line with the time 24:40.3 without a missed shot, 46.6 seconds ahead of the Italian Rene Cattarinussi and the Norwegian Halvard Hanevold (+47.9).
