Review of the Slovene Economy in the Week from 27 January to 2 February
Ljubljana, 4 February - The last week in the Slovene economy was marked by a visit of a Slovene business delegation to Belgrade. As part of the visit representatives of the Slovene and Yugoslav Chambers of Commerce signed a memorandum on co-operation. News of pharmaceutical company Krka's record results in the year 2000 also echoed in the economic circles. As did the assumption of management over the seventh pier at the Trieste Port by the Trieste International Container Terminal (TICT), in which the Port of Koper holds the greatest ownership share.
