Gorenjska Banka Meets Set Goals in 2000

Kranj, 6 February - The bank Gorenjska banka operated successfully last year, reaching set goals despite severe competition. The bank's total assets increased by 22 percent to SIT 159 billion (746 million euros), enabling Gorenjska banka to keep the seventh place on the list of the largest Slovene banks. Gross profit was up 10.6 percent to SIT 2.2 billion (10 million euros). Pre-tax return on capital employed totalled more than 10 percent.
