Rupel and Vedrine Urge for Rapid Progress in Accession Talks

Paris, 7 February - "Slovenia would like to join the EU as soon as possible," Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel answered a reporter's question of when the country expects to be admitted to the 15-nation bloc. Rupel spoke to the press after meeting his French counterpart Hubert Vedrin, with whom held talks on the first day of his two-day visit to France.
