Slovenia's Census Postponed till 2002
Ljubljana, 8 February - Census of the population in Slovenia, which was originally scheduled for 31 March, will not be carried out until 2002 due to a lack of means from the state budget. The census is estimated to cost around SIT 2.5 billion (11 million euros) and will be carried out by around 12 thousand people.
