Slovenia's Excise Taxes on Fuel Behind EU Average
Ljubljana, 9 February - Despite its frequent increases in 2000, the excise duty on 95-octane petrol at SIT 94.8/0.44 euro per litre is still 30 percent lower than the EU average, but only three percent lower than the average of one third of EU countries with the lowest excise taxes on fuel, according to the Slovene Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development.
