Drnovsek Meets with Schuessel
St. Anton, 10 February - Given that a decision of new EU members states should be made within the next 18 months, a decisive time has come for the two neighbouring countries of Slovenia and Austria to resolve the open issues, is the opinion shared by Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, who is visiting the Austrian ski resort of St. Anton, and his Austrian counterpart Wolfgang Schuessel. Drnovsek told Schuessel in their Saturday's meeting that during this period the open issues should be settled and good-neighbourly relations established so that problems would be avoided when a decision is taken on new EU member states.
