Slovene Petrol Company Makes High Profit in 2000

Ljubljana, 15 February - Slovene petrol company Petrol had the largest turnover of all Slovene companies in 2000, with record net sales revenues at SIT 246 billion (1.1 billion euros) and a net profit of SIT 1.9 billion (8.9 million euros), up substantially from 1999's SIT 219 million (one million euros), Petrol's management told a press conference on Thursday.
