Passing of Protection Bill is an Important Step for Bilateral Relations, Says PM

Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek was very pleased with the Italian senate's endorsement of the bill for the comprehensive protection of the Slovene minority in Italy on Wednesday. According to Drnovsek the move is a sign of the very high level of quality of the Italian democracy, as well as an important step for bilateral relations as it creates a positive atmosphere for the future. This opinion was shared by the representatives of the Slovene minority in Italy and the Italian minority in Slovenia, with whom he met on Thursday in Ljubljana.
