Delo: At Europe's Tail

Ljubljana, 16 February - The government has been neglecting the importance of the promotion of the young state since Slovenia gained independence. The first few state officials have dealt with it as if for fun, and only few took it seriously. The fact that an average European sets us next to Romania, i.e. to the bottom of the scale, is not a result of their narrow-mindedness, but rather a result of the incapability and negligence of the Slovene state administration, the Slovene daily Delo writes on Friday.
