Drnovsek and Dzurinda: Slovenia and Slovakia Share Several Common Goals
Ljubljana, 16 February - Political and economic relations between Slovenia and Slovakia are good and are based on common goals, namely efforts for EU and NATO membership, said Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek on Friday after meeting his Slovak counterpart Mikulas Dzurinda, who is paying an official visit to Slovenia. The Slovak official agreed with Drnovsek, hailing lively bilateral economic co-operation, which considerably strengthened last year. The prime ministers, who established that there are no open issues between the two states, discussed Euro-Atlantic integration processes and touched on security and political situation in SE Europe.
