NKBM Bank Reports 24.7 Million Euros of Pre-Tax Profit for 2000

Maribor, 19 February - Slovenia's second largest bank has estimated its pre-tax profit from 2000 at SIT 5.26 billion (24.7 million euros), an increase of 18 percent over the year before, Joze Glogovsek chairman of the NKBM board said at a news conference on Monday. Net profit are thus expected to amount to around SIT 2.6 billion (12 million euros), a rise of 10 percent over 1999.
