Slovenia's Co-Operation in NATO Excercise Evaluated as Positive
Ljubljana, 20 February - Slovenia took part in an international NATO Crisis Management Exercise 2001 (CMX 2001) from 5 to 19 February. Slovenia's co-operation in the excercise, which involved 19 NATO and 14 Partnership for Peace countries, was important for Slovenia's accession to the Alliance, Defence Ministry State Secretary Tomaz Cas told STA on Tuesday. The results of CMX 2001, which aimed at increasing the ability to manage crises, were evaluated as positive by NATO experts, he added.
