Berlusconi Announces Support for Slovenia's Bid to Join the EU and NATO

Rome, 20 February - Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, who is concluding his two-day visit to Italy, later on Tuesday held an informal meeting with Silvio Berlusconi, the centre-right candidate for the new Italian prime minister at the spring elections. Head of the Forza Italia announced that if he wins the elections, his government would support Slovenia's efforts to join EU and NATO.
