French Bank Publishes Official Takeover Bid for Slovene Private Bank
Ljubljana, 22 February - Societe Generale published on Thursday a takeover bid for shares of Slovenia's third largest bank, SKB, offering SKB shareholders 19 euros per share. The bid was published in the Slovene business paper Finance after the French bank was given the go-ahead by Slovenia's Agency for the Stock Market. In order for the bid to succeed, at least 3,978,000 shares have to be sold, which is 51 percent of all SKB banka shares.
