Vecer Comments on Succession Talks Held in Ljubljana
Maribor, 22 February - The delegations from successor states to the former Yugoslavia are expected to reach an agreement on the gold deposited at the European Bank for International Settlements after all, thus taking the first step towards an end to succession talks. This is all more plausible because the talks are being held under the scrutiny of Arthur Watts, a British legal expert who knows how to mediate, a Maribor-based daily observes on Thursday, the second day of the Ljubljana succession negotiations.
