Janez Cadez No Longer Managing Director of Slovene Public Radio and TV

Ljubljana, 22 February - An overwhelming majority of Slovene MPs (51 votes against 14) voted against Janez Cadez's reappointment to the position of the managing director of Slovenia's public radio and television at the Parliament's session on Thursday. Cadez has been accused by the network's journalists and trade union of irregularities in his work as a manager of a public institution, which are also being inspected by the Court of Audit.
