Conference on Democracy and Human Rights Begins at Bled

Bled, 23 February - STABILITYPACT/CONFERENCE
Slovenia considers a united Europe a home in which its religious, cultural and other diversities will be safe, Speaker of the Parliament Borut Pahor said at the outset of a three-day conference on democracy, human rights and the safeguarding of ethnic and religious minorities in Southeastern Europe. The conference is held at the lake-side resort of Bled, northwest, as part of the SE Europe Stability Pact.
