Slovene Bishops Warn of Corruption as Threat to Democracy

Ljubljana, 25 February - Slovene priests have read out the second part of the "shepherds' letter" at Sunday mass services. In the past few years, the bishops have traditionally presented the letter before the beginning of the fasting period, addressing the society's most burning issues. The first part of the letter last Sunday focused on issues of social justice, solidarity and honesty, while the second part of the letter dealt with corruption.
