Intereuropa Records Profits of 8 Million Euros in 2000

Koper, 27 February - The Koper-based logistics company Intereuropa recorded a turnover of SIT 27.4 billion (128 million euros) in 2000, with its net profits amounting to SIT 1.7 billion (eight million euros), a drop of 15 percent over 1999, the unaudited unconsolidated results indicate. The past business year was successful with the exception of transport, where Intereuropa recorded a loss mainly due to high petrol prices, deputy chairman of the managing board Radovan Vrabec told the press on Tuesday.
