Higher Profit for Food Producer Kolinska

Ljubljana, 27 February - Kolinska, one of the leading companies in the food-processing industry in Slovenia, last year recorded a turnover of around SIT 13 billion (60 million euros) according to unaudited an non-consolidated accounts. The turnover thus increased by nine percent if compared to 1999. Net profits of the company rose by eight percent to SIT 871.61 million (4 million euros), with the returns on capital employed standing at 6.8 percent, said Kolinska's financial director Iztok Bricl at a news conference on Tuesday. General Manager Lojze Dezelak was satisfied with Kolinska's operation, saying the company had produced better results both in terms of production as well as financially.
