Dnevnik: A Development-Oriented Budget

Ljubljana, 1 March - It should be acknowledged to Finance Minister Anton Rop that he drafted the budget bill in a short time and skillfully patched dangerous financial holes - partly with the budget deficit and also with some minor magic tricks. The orientation towards development as one of the central points in a budget so hastily drafted amidst opinion clashes seems rather pleonastic. It will be possible to seriously judge the matter only after several years, the Slovene daily Dnevnik writes on Thursday.
