Initiative for Preliminary Referendum Handed to Speaker of Parliament

Ljubljana, 1 March - An initiative for a preliminary referendum on changes to the referendum and people's initiative act was handed to Speaker of the Slovene Parliament Borut Pahor by several non-parliamentary parties on Thursday. The changes to the law have been sent to parliament for swift adoption and are being discussed for the third and last time in parliament.
