New Euroinfo Centre Opened in Maribor

Maribor, 1 March - A third Euroinfo centre (EIC) in Slovenia was opened in Maribor on Thursday. EIC will serve for information and preparation of middle-sized and small businesses in the Maribor region for Slovenia's accession to the EU. An European Commission official responsible for EICs in EU candidate countries Ana Maria Coelhorodriguef, also attended the opening. She stressed the importance of the EIC for Slovenia, which already had a centre in Ljubljana and one in Koper.
