Weekly Review of Slovenia's Economy from 24 February to 2 March

Ljubljana, 4 March - Making headlines in business news this week was Austrian mobile telephony operator Mobilkom's successful bid for Slovenia's provider Si.Mobil. Mobilkom bought a 49-percent stake in Si.Mobil, while Slovenia's Teleimpuls bought the remaining 26 percent plus one share. Slovenia will also be making investments abroad, construction company Rudis from Trbovlje will be undertaking in DEM 10 million project to renovate the Montenegrin hydro-electric plant Perucica.
