Licenses for GSM 1800 Paid

Ljubljana, 5 March - All three licensees chosen last November to provide mobile telephony services on the 1800 MHz radio-frequency spectrum have paid the licensing fees totalling SIT 6.91 billion (32.3 million euros). Western Wireless International paid SIT 4.91 (22.9 million euros) last Thursday, while Simobil and Mobitel each paid one billion tolars (4.7 million euros) on Monday, the companies told STA.
