Ljubljana Airport Takes Measures to Prevent the Spread of Foot-And-Mouth Disease
Ljubljana, 5 March - All passengers arriving at the Ljubljana Airport will be required to disinfect their shoe-soles in a special container with disinfectants as of Tuesday. This is an additional measure to prevent the spread of foot-and-mouth disease to Slovenia, which was introduced by the national centre for the control of diseases. The centre convened on Monday upon the call of the director of the Slovene Veterinary Administration (VURS), Zoran Kovac.
