Foreign Minister Rupel to Leave for Two-Day Austrian Visit

Ljubljana, 6 March - Slovene Minister for Foreign Affairs Dimitrij Rupel will leave for Austria on Tuesday, for what will be a two-day visit in Vienna. During his visit to Austria Rupel is expected to meet with Austrian counterpart Benita Ferrero-Waldner with whom he will sign an agreement on the encouragement and protection of investments. Rupel is also expected to meet with Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel. The focus of talks will be the position of the Slovene minority in Austria, the bilateral cultural agreement and Slovene accession to the EU.
