Slovene Working Women Have Much More Potential

Ljubljana, 7 March - The potential of Slovene working women is not turned to the best account, as the percentage of women on top positions remains much smaller than that of men. Despite their high education, Slovene women account for only one forth of the positions among lawmakers, senior civil servants and managers, and are on average less paid than their male counterparts, the Government Office for Equal Opportunities said on Wednesday.
