Slovene-Austrian Agreement on Investments Signed
Vienna, 7 March - Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and his Austrian counterpart Benita Ferrero-Waldner on Wednesday signed an agreement on the promotion and protection of investments. The signing comes as part of Rupel's two-day visit to Austria. The two ministers also announced that the difference in views on the position of the German-speaking community in Slovenia, an issue that has held up the ratification of a bilateral cultural agreement, was resolved, thus paving the way for the agreement's final ratification.
