Slovene Insurance Companies Collect 900 Mio. Euros in Premiums

Ljubljana, 10 March - A total of fourteen insurance companies, members of the Slovene Insurance Association, collected some SIT 192.7 billion (cca. 900 million euros) from insurance premiums last year. This number is 12.4 percent higher than in 1999. In return the companies paid out some SIT 126.4 billion (590 million euros) in damages, according to information published by the Slovene Insurance Association.
