Planica to Host World Cup Ski Jumping Finals this Weekend

Planica, 14 March - The great ski jump in Planica, NW Slovenia, will host the World Cup ski jumping finals on Saturday and Sunday. Janez Gorisek, deputy president of the organisation committe, expects that favourable weather conditions could enable jumps over the 225 metre mark, which is the current unofficial world record achieved in Planica by Austria's Andreas Goldberger.
