Foot-and-Mouth Disease Suspected Close to Slovenia
Ljubljana, 14 March - The foot-and-mouth virus has presumably dangerously approached Slovenia, as Italy said it has suspected cases of infected sheep. While it has not yet been established that the sheep have been infected with the foot-and-mouth virus, the Slovene Veterinary Administration (VURS) has already decided to propose some additional measures to prevent the possible spread of the virus to Slovenia.
