Slovenia Confirms to Offer 175 Soldiers to the European Defence Project
Brussels, 15 March - Slovenia on Thursday confirmed to the European Union that it will offer 175 soldiers to take part in future joint European military missions. The soldiers will come from units that have already operated within international peace-keeping missions. While the offer was presented as early as last November, the officials form the Slovene Foreign and Defence Ministries today in Brussels in detail discussed the EU plans to establish its own units and Slovenia's participation in the project.
