Slovene and Maltese Presidents Discuss Situation in SE Europe
Ljubljana, 15 March - Slovenia and Malta signed Thursday an agreement to boost and protect investment, a document which, togehter with a double taxation agreement which is in preparation, is expected to be a basis for future economic co-operation between the two countries. Slovenia and Malta are also linked by a number of other interests, chiefly their efforts to join the EU, Slovene and Maltese President Milan Kucan and Guido de Marco told a joint press conference after their meeting in Ljubljana on Thursday.
