Music Festival to Mark 300th Anniversary of Ljubljana's Philharmonic Academy

Ljubljana, 19 March - Marking 300 years since Academiae Philharmonicorum Labacensis was founded and 100 years since the Slovene composer Blaz Arnic was born, a music festival will being in the capital of Ljubljana on Tuesday at St. Jacob's Church. In four days, the 16th Slovene Musical Days will feature three concerts, a traditional night of Slovene composers and an international conference of musicologists. The festival will be opened by Culture Minister Andreja Rihter.
