Slovene Economists Remain Optimistic Despite Unfavourable Outlooks

Ljubljana, 19 March - Total spending went down drastically at the end of the year. Export remains the basis of economic activities and optimism. There is a notable shift to markets of transitional countries and those of the former Yugoslavia. Both domestic and foreign orders have increased in February, as well as optimism of Slovene economists, despite bleak outlooks in world economy, according to experts of the Economics Institute at the Faculty of Law (EIPF).
