Vecer on the New Opening-Hour Regulations Introduced by Economics Minister

Maribor, 21 March - Some claim that the new regulations on the opening hours of shops, by which shops of all trade companies can be open on Sundays, came about mainly because of the pressure by the trade company Mercator, which until now could not open its supermarkets on Sundays. It seems however, that given the general chase for profit the regulations introduced by Economics Minister Tea Petrin are beyond any reasonable boundary, the Slovene daily Vecer writes on Wednesday.
