Slovenia Bans Animal and Meat Imports From Ireland
Ljubljana, 22 March - The Slovene Veterinary Administration (VURS) will respond to the latest find of foot-and-mouth in Ireland the same way it did with cases that appeared in Britain, France and the Netherlands. VURS Director Zoran Kovac told STA on Wednesday afternoon that the order to ban imports of all animals and their by-products from Ireland has already been signed.
