Meeting of Representatives from the Slovene and Slovak Supreme Courts
Bratislava, 22 March - SLOVENIA/SLOVAKIA/JUDICIARY
The delegation of the Slovene Supreme Court headed by its president Mitja Deisinger paid a visit to Slovakia on Thursday. The representatives of the respective supreme courts used the visit to discuss issues of the legal arrangement of the judiciary in both countries, as the legislation dealing with the judiciary is undergoing changes in both Slovenia and Slovakia at this point in time. The two delegations also discussed issues from the field of administrative justice, measures to speed up judicial procedure, changes in the field of penal legislation and issues concerning cases with damages claims.
