Telekom Slovenia Warns of Contentious Articles in New Telecommunications Act

Ljubljana, 22 March - Employees of Telekom Slovenia, Slovenia's national telecommunications operator, believe that the new telecommunications act, if it will be passed in the current form, will have negative consequences on both the operations of the company and the further development of telecommunications in Slovenia. The employees of Telekom Slovenia thus call on Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, Minister of the Information Society Pavel Gantar and other that they consider the contentious articles - especially the ban of mutual subsidising of different telecommunications services, the formation of prices and the article which concerns the joint use of infrastructure - before the act is passed and influence suitable changes.
