Drnovsek Talks to Russian Daily, Says Unused Economic Potential Exists

Moscow, 23 March - Russian daily the Nezavisima gazeta published an interview with the visiting Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek on Friday. In the interview Drnovsek said that co-operation between the countries is good, while he pointed out the unused economic potential. Drnovsek expressed that a stabile, democratic and successful Russia is important for long-lasting peace and prosperity in Europe. Prime Minister Drnovsek also expressed an expectation that Russian President Vladimir Putin could visit Slovenia in autumn.
