Retirees' protest statement

Ljubljana, 16 March - RETIREES/PROTEST
"We know that as retirees we also must carry the burden of nursing our economy back to health and of its preparation for a new start, but we are only prepared to carry a burden equal to that carried by others with the same incomes. Those with higher incomes, beginning with the deputies, should carry a relatively greater part of the burden," wrote the Slovenian retirees who gathered at a protest demonstration in Ljubljana today in their protest letter.
