Ljubljana, 26 March - Table tennis used to bring the U.S. and China closer togehter, and sports is now playing the same role in Slovene-Russian relations; while neither the Slovene president not the prime minister visited Russia in the last decade, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek has now had two meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin in slightly over one month, a daily observes on Monday, commenting on Drnovsek's two-day visit to Moscow during which he watched a Slovene-Russian football match.
