Press on Proposed Abolishment of Reciprocity

Ljubljana, 26 March - Slovene press on Monday comments on the parliamentary foreign affairs committee's desicion to endorse a government plan to do away with the principle of reciprocity applying to the purchase of real estate in Slovenia. The change of Article 68 of the Constitution would mean that, upon Slovene membership in the EU, reciprocity will no longer apply to citizens and legal entitles from EU member states when buying property in Slovenia.
