Last Contingent of Slovene Soldiers Leaves for Peace-Keeping Mission to Cyprus

Ljubljana, 26 March - A group of 14 Slovene soldiers will travel to Cyprus on Tuesday to relieve the 14 Slovene officers and non-commissioned officers stationed in Cyprus as part of the United Nations Forces in Cyprus (UNFICYP). This will be the last contingent of Slovene soldiers on Cyprus, as Slovenia is expected to withdraw from the mission in June, the Defence Ministry reported on Monday.
