Verhofstadt Cancels Visit Because of Train Collision in Belgium

Ljubljana, 27 March - Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt, who was due to arrive in Slovenia on Tuesday, cancelled the visit because of a train accident in Belgium this morning, in which at least eight people have been reported dead. The Belgian delegation, which will nevertheless arrive in Ljubljana today, will be instead led by Annemie Neyts-Uytterbroeck, Belgian Foreign Ministry State Secretary for European Affairs.
