Slovene Press on the Appointment of the New Central Bank Governor

Ljubljana, 28 March - Slovene dailies on Wednesday comment on the appointment of Mitja Gaspari as the new governor of the Bank of Slovenia. Appointed for a six-year period, Gaspari will assume office on 1 April 2001, replacing France Arhar, who has headed the central bank for 10 years.
